Samuel David Stewart

DVM, DACVECC, VESH Founder & CEO

Sam Stewart is a board-certified specialist in Emergency and Critical Care and a highly published researcher whose work has advanced veterinary medicine worldwide.

Before founding VESH, he served as Director of Science at Ethos Veterinary Health in the U.S., where he founded Ethos Science Consultancy, now one of the largest veterinary research organizations in the world. He also co-founded Ethos Discovery, a veterinary research charity, and continues to serve as its Director of Clinical Operations, overseeing clinical trials across 160 hospitals around the world. Through these positions, he led dozens of clinical trials and supported the development of breakthrough solutions in veterinary and human medicine.

After relocating to the UK and recognizing the need for an advanced veterinary hospital in London, he set out to create VESH, guided by his philosophy that hospitals should not only provide the highest quality care but also pursue research that transforms how we can care for our patients.
